     Niagara River Boat Tour

Our last boat tour of the year!  Join us on a nature and history themed voyage up the Niagara River and through the Black Rock locks.  See the Niagara’s historic reminders of the heyday of lake commerce, learn about a war that tore apart a continent, and see modern efforts to clean up our rivers that are the first of their kind in the USA.  Don't miss this leisurely, two-hour trip on the Miss Buffalo II this Labor Day Weekend, just blocks away from the National Buffalo Wing Festival.

     City of Light Bus Tour

Visualize Buffalo in 1901 through the eyes of the heroine of the historical novel City of Light.  Approved by the author, Lauren Belfer, this tour reimagines the illustrious City of Buffalo at the time of the Pan-American Exposition with its state-of-the-art skyscrapers, electricity, and opulent parkways.

SEARCH PARTY!

     Saturday, October 2 at 2pm (Search at 2:00, Party at 5:00)

Attention adventure lovers! Join up with friends for a three-hour scavenger hunt canvassing the architectural wonders of downtown Buffalo. Teams of up to four people are provided fun clues pointing them in the direction of famous and lesser-known landmarks. Entry fee includes Buffalo-style food at the post-hunt party.  For rules and registration details, click on the binoculars below.

     Holiday Churches Bus Tour

All new churches for 2010! Visit the lush interiors of Delaware Avenue Baptist Church, St. Casimir Roman Catholic Church, St. Luke’s Mission of Mercy, and the Hellenic Orthodox Church of the Annunciation. This six hour, guided tour includes transportation, entry into each church, admission to the Buffalo Religious Arts Center, lunch at Chef's, and a special organ recital at Xavier Hall.

     Inside the Homes of Prospect Hill

SOLD OUT!  Enjoy interior home visits and hidden gardens, look out from the Masons widow’s walk, and glimpse the unsurpassed view at Front Park in Buffalo’s only historic lakefront community. See architecture from 1860 to 1955 and learn the rags to riches stories behind the Italian Americans who created the community known as "Doctor's Row." Enjoy refreshments (Italian of course) at one of our homes.
