Join a 'new' organization with a 40 year history!
Our region has an abundance of historic places. Help us build an organization that can foster the use of historic preservation tools and techniques for the benefit of Buffalo, Niagara Falls and our other historic communities.
Your membership will be an important investment in our community’s future!
On October 16, 2008 members of the Landmark Society of the Niagara Frontier and the Preservation Coalition of Erie County voted to join forces, approved new bylaws and elected a new board of trustees. Our goal is to become a substantial, professional historic preservation organization. Your membership will help us to effectively use historic preservation techniques for the benefit of Buffalo and its region.

Our most significant volunteer opportunity is through Buffalo Tours. All tours are led by docents who have been trained and/or certified by Buffalo Tours. Our 10-week architectural docent training program is conducted every February through May. Classroom and tour activities are led by professional educators, architectural historians, and experienced docents. The application deadline is February 1st, 2010. Click here to apply.
