Museums by Moonlight on October 20

Tickets for Museums by Moonnight are now on sale for $30 at the Albright-Knox, Burchfield-Penney and the Buffalo & Erie County Historical Society.
Five Buffalo institutions have come together in a unique collaboration. They will open their facilities on Thursday, October 20. Featured will be three Buffalo museums, a historic site and an art conservation lab. Museums by Moonlight will be open for free for conference registrants and for one low price for the public.
The open institutions are the Albright-Knox Art Gallery; the Buffalo and Erie County Historical Society; Buffalo State College’s Art Conservation Program; the Burchfield Penney Art Center; and the Richardson Olmsted Complex.
Museums by Moonlight is being organized by Preservation Buffalo Niagara. Stated Gerri Kozlowski, the volunteer coordinator of this event, “We are thrilled that these wonderful places will be open, highlighting Buffalo landmarks and the treasures they house.” Ms Kozlowski also noted the Conference is providing the first opportunity in over a decade for the public to see into the interior of the H.H. Richardson’s State Psychiatric Center.
Museums by Moonlight is sponsored by Preservation Buffalo Niagara with support by M&T Bank. All proceeds will benefit the participating non-profit organizations.
